Kansas City listings

The Kansas City metro spans two states, and its housing covers a wide range: brick bungalows and Tudor-style homes on tree-lined streets in older neighborhoods, foursquares and two-story colonials, and newer subdivisions on both sides of the state line. A lot of homes here have basements, and a finished one is often a selling point that deserves its own stretch of the tour.

Basements and stairs are where walkthroughs tend to lose viewers, since the move from the main floor down can feel like a jump. We use the stair pass as a bridge, so the tour carries a viewer down without losing their sense of where they are in the house.

Seasons and light

Summers are hot and humid, with haze that flattens drone shots of the wider area; we add back contrast where the footage allows. Mature trees shade many older homes, which looks good in person but can hide a facade from the air in full leaf. Winter brings gray skies and brown lawns. We can warm a gray sky and lift a flat exterior, though we don't paint in grass or leaves that weren't there.

Fall color looks good on exteriors. If a listing is shot in October, tell us, and we'll keep the leaves their real color without oversaturating them.

How a Kansas City job runs

  1. You share the folder of footage and list the versions you need.
  2. We check the files and send a written quote with a delivery date.
  3. You review the first cut on a link and leave notes at exact moments.
  4. We make the changes and send each version sized for where it will run.

Everything happens online. Footage arrives through a shared link, cuts come back as review links, and calls are booked in Central time. We don't have an office in Kansas City and we don't film; the agent, photographer or drone pilot on the job does that.

What you can order

Questions

Do you meet clients in Kansas City?

No. We work by email, review links and video calls booked in Central time, so there's nothing to schedule in person.

Can you edit for a photographer who serves agents on both sides of the state line?

Yes. We can keep a separate style kit for each agent client and deliver every version unbranded or under your business name.

Ask for a quote

Cost depends on how much footage there is, how many versions you need, how much drone and color work it takes, and whether titles and music are included. Each listing gets its own written quote before work starts.
